She meant that she believes in Creationism, but doesn't have a problem with evolution being taught as an alternative if you choose not to believe in God or if you just don't think God is capable of creation. As for abortion, every human life is precious and should be protected. Even in horrific circumstances, that is a life that deserves a chance. Besides, one in four couples are unable to conceive and want to adopt.
