| well researched, fanboy... actually they're basically the same, somehow an adaptation from Tsuchiya's old AE86 from the Pluspy movie and his new TRD AE86. Plus, Tsuchiya supervised the races and technicality of the show. |

| That AE86 was restored by TRD and given to Tsuchiya from TRD as thanks for all he did to increase the popularity of the car. And that.. was his first time driving it.. The Class A 101 engines were made in very few numbers, and even then, extremely few of them went up to 12000 rpm. But even now in N2 competitions, there are 86`s with equally or better modified engines that rev up to 9-11 thousand rpm, many of them have restricted rev in order to keep reliability but with reasonable torque ;) |

| well this is really funny im getting a trueno and its ganna have a AE101 engine in it as well im ganna fix it all up nice and smik might put it on youtube but i wont be drifting like this guy yet key word YET lol we will see what happens |
